Oscar Kidega

Oscar is a Data & IT Manager at IGREC. He began his career in 2022 as a field officer and later worked as part time data transcriber, growing through the ranks of Field Officer, Team Leader, Field Manager (part time), and SurveyCTO apprentice before progressing to his current role.

As a Data & IT Manager (SurveyCTO Programmer), Oscar has developed and maintained intuitive user-friendly electronic forms (surveys) for many projects in the fields of water and health, education, health, insurance, and economic entrepreneurship, including handling data management and tasks automation. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Gulu University and is currently pursing Post Graduate Diploma in Education with Technology. He is passionate about using technology to create meaningful impacts in society.

He has worked on several projects at IGREC, including Water and Health, Government of Uganda Procurement, SME Clusters, Hiring Practices in Uganda, Firms Growth, Health Insurance, Relational Contracts of firms in Uganda, Body Mass as Signal of wealth in Uganda, among others.
